Scale Model Supplies is the sole owner of any information
collected on the Web site: www.scalemodelsupplies.com. We may
collect information from our users at one or more points on our
Web site.
Contact Us Page
We request information from the user on our
Contact Us page. A user must provide contact information (such
as name and email, etc.) if requesting information or assistance.
This information is used to contact the user, by email or telephone.
Profile
We may opt to store information that we collect through
our Contact Us page (and any future online ordering pages) to create
a profile of our users. (A profile is stored information that we
keep on individual users that details their viewing preferences
and product purchases.) Consequently, collected information is
tied to the users personally identifiable information to provide
possible offers and improve the content of the site for the user.
This profile is used to tailor a user’s
visit to our Web site, and to possibly direct pertinent marketing
promotions to them. We do not share your profile with other
third parties unless required to do so by law.

service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type,

Established customers may occasionally receive information on
products, services, special offers, and/or newsletters. Out of

services, and in regard to issues relating to their account,
we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the user's wishes.

If and when Scale Model Supplies makes online purchases possible,

forms. Currently, ALL information requested on our web site is
transmitted to us via unsecured
email. These email
transmissions are not encrypted for security. Because of this,
users should never offer
unsolicited financial information (such as credit card number or
social security number) in our Contact Us form.
Until we offer online purchses, users will only be asked
for personal financial information via telephone when ordering
our products.
Offline Security
This Web site takes every precaution possible to protect our users’ information
offline. All of our users’ information is restricted in our
offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific
job (for example, a customer service employee) are granted
access to personally identifiable information.

users can send us an email.
Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such
as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer
